Mouse
I have no children but I do have a cat. This is Mouse. She is 17 1/2 years old, deaf and weighs in at a hefty 6 pounds. She rules the house with an iron paw.

The Catbird Seat
A Catbird stops for a drink at the birdbath on our patio. These birds a good mimics, but usually make a sound not unlike a cat's "meow". They are summer residents, coming here to breed, but they move south for the winter.

View From the Front
We survived the Blizzard of '96! During the winter of '95-'96 we had a record snowfall...over 5 feet total. Most of it feel during one week in January. This picture and the next two are our catalog of what it looked like. This is the view from the front porch.

The Tunnel
This is the "tunnel" from the back door to the driveway. That fence is almost 5 feet tall.

Out Back
The backyard, untouched by human feet. You can get an idea how deep the snow was by looking at the swing set frame in the back, on the right.

Tracks In The Snow
How many different animal tracks in the snow are there leading to the feeders? The big and little pair to the right of the dog or cat's belong to a rabbit.

Tough Customer
I was playing around with a graphics program and this picture just cried for a caption!

Karen
My opinion may be colored by an aunt's eye, but I think my neice, Karen, is quite photogenic. This photograph was take a few years ago. She is 11 years old now.

Steven And Karen
Steven, Karen's older brother, is a real ham. But, at age 14 now, he is also a talented gymnast.
